Northmead Public School
Solar Case Study
Northmead Public School in Northmead NSW ensures an empathetic learning environment for primary school children utilising a whole-school approach to create a positive, safe and supportive school climate.
Speaking of climate, the school works diligently to create student awareness of the environmental impact of fossil fuels. This led to installing a solar system when Department of Education grants became available earlier this year.
The solar installation also significantly reduces the school’s electricity bills by powering their administration building which is at the heart of the school’s operations.
It was completed March 26, 2019.
